Job Description

As a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer (Level 2–3 Support), you will deliver advanced Microsoft infrastructure support across multiple client environments, resolving complex issues, ensuring system stability, and owning end-to-end user and platform management.

Shift: Mid shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM UK / 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM Sri Lanka) Weekends off

The Qualifications We Seek

• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft engineering experience
• Prior MSP experience (essential)
• Proven experience operating at Level 2–3 support
• Comfortable working independently without a large escalation chain
• Strong communication skills with an initiative-taking mindset
• Experience supporting 200+ users across multiple clients
• Comfortable supporting multiple clients in parallel
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to remain hands-on despite seniority
• Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)

Deep, hands-on expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem, including:

• Microsoft 365
• Entra ID
• Intune
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• SQL Server (administration level)

Required certifications (or equivalent experience):
Core Microsoft:

• MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert)
• SC-300 (Identity & Access Administrator)
• MD-102 (Modern Desktop Administrator)
• AZ-800 / AZ-801 (Windows Server Hybrid Administrator)

Azure:

• AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate)
• AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer Associate) – strongly preferred

SQL:

• DP-300 (Azure Database Administrator Associate)
• Or legacy MCSA/MCSE SQL Server certifications

Your Daily Tasks

• Manage and administer new user creation, access, and offboarding
• Deliver end-to-end new user onboarding
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments
• Manage Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory
• Support Intune for device and endpoint management
• Perform Windows Server administration and maintenance
• Manage SQL Server (admin-level tasks, maintenance, and backups)
• Maintain and monitor SQL Server maintenance plans
• Apply patch updates to ensure systems remain secure and up to date
• Provide remote support to user laptops and resolve Microsoft-related issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2–3 incidents across the Microsoft stack
• Work collaboratively within a team supporting multiple client environments
• Ensure consistent service quality across all supported clients
